Stephanie Wriede Morawski is in her 24th season as the Costin Family Head Coach of Harvard Women’s Swimming and Diving. Coach Steph has led the Crimson to four Ivy League Championship victories in the past six years and the team has finished first or second in the league every year since 2003. Earning both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Harvard, Coach Steph lives in Belmont with her husband and two daughters.
Kevin Tyrrell is in his eighth season as the Ulen Brooks Endowed Coach for Harvard Men’s Swimming and Diving. Coach Kevin has led the Harvard men to three consecutive Ivy Championships and an eighth place finish at the NCAA Championships. In addition, Coach Kevin also coached Dean Farris to an American Record in the 200 freestyle in 2019. A graduate of Lafayette College, Coach Kevin later earned a master’s degree in education from Harvard and a second one from Boston University. Currently his is working towards his PhD. Coach Kevin lives in Acton with his wife and four children.

Coach Steph: I love coaching IMers! There is so much technique and strategy involved which plays to different strengths so anything can happen
Coach Kevin: 50 Free. To be fast, you need to perfect the pieces: start, turn, stroke and finish.
Coach Steph: Make friends, focus on technique and enjoy the race. Don't fixate on the times. If you put together a great race and you are having fun, then you will be rewarded with a fast time. A happy swimmer is a fast swimmer!
Coach Kevin: Have fun each practice trying to get better.
