While our clinic begins at this time, the doors will not open earlier than 10 minutes before the program begins. Our staff needs time to sanitize the pool area after the previous programming.
The facility has asked for only ONE parent/guardian (no siblings) to accompany the swimmer into the pool area. Enter the facility through the main entrance and follow the arrows straight and behind the stairs. After passing the facility welcome deck, make a left. The pool entrance is halfway down. Markers will be on the floor to indicate places to wait until it is your turn to enter. Ten minutes provides plenty of time for athletes to place their belongings and move to their assigned lane
Once a swimmer has been checked in and their temperature is confirmed as normal, the accompanying parent/guardian will exit through the far door. The hallway is one way so participants don't pass each other.
In accordance with state regulations, swimmers will be placed into smaller groups for the purpose of rotating them to video review and break. These smaller groups also provide the coaching staff the opportunity to safely provide feedback to all swimmers
After the first hour, we will take a short break and head outside. Swimmers have the opportunity to use the bathroom, eat a snack or get some fresh air.
Please do not enter the building. Find a designated parking spot and wait. We will bring all swimmers outside when the program ends. Specific guidelines will be emailed
Please have your swimmer arrive in a swim suit and bring a towel, cap and goggles. We will not be using any other equipment
The public water filling stations are closed. Please send your swimmer to the clinic with at least one, maybe two, water bottles. Your swimmer's name should be on the water bottle
We will break for 10 minutes in order for the swimmers to have a snack (if needed), use the bathroom or simply just rest.
Your swimmer will be required to wear a mask at all times unless swimming or eating. Masks need to be worn TO and FROM the assigned lane and may get wet. Please pack another mask if a dry one is needed after the clinic.
Shoes and a cover up MUST BE WORN when entering and exiting the building. Swimmers will not be permitted to leave in just their swim suit. At a minimum, a towel must be wrapped around them. This facility is shared with many other patrons
While we will accommodate friend requests, the social distancing protocols will place friends in opposite lanes 8 feet apart or sharing a lane at opposite ends.
