Train with Harvard coaches to sharpen your race strategy.
Swimming fast is more than just strength and speed—it’s about knowing how to pace your race. Go out too fast and you may struggle to finish; start too conservatively and you may have energy left when the race is over. Finding the “sweet spot” requires time, focused practice, and expert coaching.
This clinic is designed to help swimmers develop effective race plans, with a primary focus on the 100 and 200. The principles and strategies covered will also be applicable to longer events. The session will be held in our long course meters (LCM) pool, giving swimmers valuable experience and confidence heading into late‑July and early‑August competitions.
Clinic focus areas include:
Ages 9 - 17
This is not a “learn to swim” program. Participants must have substantial competitive experience and be prepared to handle full workouts in a long course meters (LCM) pool.
Our program is designed for swimmers who are already on teams and are looking to find those extra tenths of a second in their races. We look forward to working with you.
